A massive ego is a requirement for running for the presidency, so your point is moot.

There's a difference between having an ego thinking you should be President so running with a chance of being so and running for no reason whatsoever other than to fill that massive ego (which is basically his only reasons for 2004 and 2008 after even the Greens disowned him.) To anyone who complains about the two-party system, well you can thank Nader for solidfying it. Nader effectively destroyed the Green Party which is now just a shadow of its former self.

He also helped ruin GM with his killing of the Corvair. There's a good chance the government would've never had to step in to save GM much to the hatred of the teabaggers without Nader.
