The weather forecast says 3 days of snowfall ahead and then degrees of 14-30° Fahrenheit.

It doesn't snow here.  However, it's been raining for the past week.  I love this weather.  Smiley

Nope. I don't think we'll get any until December (although I can't completely rule it out in November).

As I write this, it looks like it's getting ready to snow for the first time here. I just need to say it:

WHERE THE HELL DID SUMMER GO SO QUICKLY?! Angry

Can't snow in Thailand, but also back in Missouri it won't snow normally until well into December, if I remember rightly.  Particularly nowadays - it snows so much less than before.

No, but some models are saying 4-6 inches Tuesday night through Wednesday.  That means we'll get a trace.

But really.. a huge storm is going to move through here which will almost certainly set a low pressure record for the state... 964mb which is equivalent to a category 3 hurricane... and insane for the middle of a continent where pressures often reach 1040mb in the winter.

The temperature has been in the 0-10 range (upper 30s and 40s) for a while now, so we could get snow any day, I guess if the temperature dips. We have had lots of rain.

Dear no. Snowing while the month shows 'Octobre'? How depressive... Snow should be forbidden before December and after March, and very slightly allowed in between.

Snowed on some French mountains though...

It did snow here last week. Now it's gone though.

But there's a saying in Sweden, a cold winter is always followed by an even colder one... so considering last winter we should get plenty with time.

We only got a very little bit.  Places just east and west of here got 9 inches from that monster storm that set the lowest non-hurricane pressure ever recorded in the U.S. at Bigfork, MN (955mb, or 28.2 inches).  It was quite windy and generally nasty outside and all the rain we got is a bad sign for spring flooding.  With the forecast for this winter calling for well above average snowfall in northern MN, the Red River will likely see near record floods for a 3rd consecutive year on the ND/MN border.

I should stop to read that thread, all this evocation of snow that early really isn't good for my mood...
