Not a problem. Though your tenure was brief, your assistance in continuing some semblance of normalcy in these inactive times has been invaluable.

We need to balance the budget. If I may be so bold, I propose that $100,000,000,000 be stored away to help us balance future budgets, while Welfare spending is doubled by expanding the number and type of programs available. I also propose we cut income taxes in half, and use the remaining 50 billion or so to give each citizen a check for $125 in the mail each quarter

Quote from: ancient scroll
Good morrow my good sir.
I am addressing you this appeal in the hope that your good grace as imperial overlord will shine amongst us all. Good sir, there are two men of stature from which whom I carry a great deal of respect and admiration. These men, taft and pingvin, are of royal lineage of their own and are adept, experienced, and proficient at the duties required of a member of our legislature.
Good sir, I wish to advance the idea that it be these two who are chosen by your good grace to sit in our humble and esteemed legislature.
