A new Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee poll of the Illinois Senate race shows Democrat Alexi Giannoulias leading Republican Rep. Mark Kirk 41%-39% in a head-to-head match-up, with 19% of likely voters still undecided.

When when the poll included Green Party candidate LeAlan Jones (7%) and Libertarian candidate Michael Labno (4%), Giannoulias (38%) still maintained a two-point lead over Kirk (36%), with 16% undecided.

Additionally, the DSCC poll found that 58% of likely voters in Illinois have a favorable or somewhat favorable opinion of President Obama.

He's sitting on 41, with pretty high undecideds... I still think he'll scrape in by the skin of his teeth
