Also, I don't doubt Deal is ahead, but I'm not buying such a high result for the Libertarian.

Or perhaps there is the possibility that Georgians did not like him the last time he was governor (hence him losing) so they don't feel like giving him a 2nd chance? I'm sure it happens on the right too, but it just seems the left is much quicker to revert to insulting the voter's intelligence every time a candidate they back is losing.

But Deal is a corrupt, crooked, old sleaze bag. That's a pretty well accepted fact.

He should, and probably would be if this was 2008. However, we all know how screwy politics are.
