I'm probably the only one on this board who'd say good riddance to that First Amendment trashing rubbish.  I've always been suspicious of McCain for the same reason.  The McCain-Feingold incumbent protection bill is a travesty that tramples Americans' absolute right to free political speech - the very essence of why we have the First Amendment in the first place.   Publius are turning over in their graves.

Well, enjoy your PATRIOT Act supporting Senator, Mr. Freedom of Speech.

PPP apparently has Johnson up 52% to 45%. I think it's over.

In Kagen's district...

That seems like the perfect example of an area where Dems should implode this cycle.

PPP isn't even starting to poll Wisconsin until tonight, so I'm not sure where any of these numbers are coming from.

PPP for DailyKos in WI-08

Bush won the district by 11 points while losing the state though, so maybe not all is lost.

Bush narrowly lost the state won the district by a little less than 11.  Obama won the state by 14, won the district by 8.5, so the district is certainly more GOP than the state as a whole.
