I have this sneaking suspicion that the LDS likes having a token Dem around in Utah, and in the belly of the beast to boot (Provo), just to make it appear that they are not an arm of the Republican party.

Mormon Republicans seem to buck the party a lot more than average.

Matheson does not represent Provo. He represents most of the Democratic parts of Salt Lake County and some rural areas. He could never win a district with Provo in it.

Well, I think he used to represent Provo then, but maybe I am just losing it.

Are you thinking about Bill Orton, maybe? He represented Provo until '96.

Morgan Bowen is formidable. 85% have an opinion of him and 64% doesn't!
Also, with him 21 is greater than 37.
Congrats, Tribune, you failed to make sense.
