So it's all about the kids. Better disqualify all the boomers working on the 2nd 3rd and 4th marriages. Far too old to have kids. Ditto for the barren and those who refuse to have kids. How dare those folks deny the state their progeny. Libertarian, my a$$.

This guy basically has this misguided idea that decreasing freedom somehow increases freedom.... He also supports significantly reduced immigration because " the average immigrant hates freedom more than the average American"....

Well any ideology can be portrayed as being for freedom. You could probably say that fascism is just freeing the people from subversive elements within society.

Freedom is entirely a subjective thing anyway. There's no such thing as being 'for freedom'. If you increase one freedom, you take away from some other, and vise versa.

As far as the government benefits traditionally associated with marriage, there has already been a swing from marriage-centric to child-centric benefits.  I fully expect that trend to continue for the foreseeable future.

huh?  If we were to begin to allow legal prostitution, what freedom would we taking away?  If we legalize the weed, what freedom would we be taking away?  If we stopped letting people go to Mosque, what new freedom would we get?

Dude, these 'libertarians' you keep posting about are retarded.  Also, please include links next time you try and strawman.  For all we know, you're just making sh**t up.

(I'm not insinuating I think you are making it up just that it looks even more fishy without links to the retarded quotes)
