Thanks for making this one a mess, Joe - http://politicalwire.com/archives/2010/10/31/republicans_give_up_on_miller.html

I still think he'll win but I didn't want any chance of a Murkowski victory.

With a bit of luck, we'll at least be saved from the horror that is a Sen. Joe Miller.

Good. He's easily the nastiest thug running for the Senate this year.

I guess the GOP believes the polls. Miller's computergate affair was pretty tawdry. Oddly enough, I would give more slack to someone like the challenged-in-every-way O'Donnell doing that sort of thing, than a lawyer from Yale Law School. When folks from elite law schools go to the dark side, I find it a rather personal embarrassment, to be honest.

More likely than not this looks like a false flag op, probably to try and drive up turnout from the Palin wing of the Alaska GOP.

Hallelujah! It looks like sanity may prevail in Alaska, whether it be through Murkowski or McAdams.

My night will totally be ruined if Murkowski wins. I hate that woman more than anyone else running for Senate this year.

If Murkowski wins, I could see her playing up to the tea party and acting like Joe Miller would in the Senate. It's not like she wants to risk this incident happening again.

These claims have been proven to be false. HTMLDemocrat is still hilarious though.

As long as it's not McAdams... I don't care if it's Lisa or Joe.

If not that option, more then likely its hedging to prevent a victorious Murko from caucusing with the Dems.

She doesn't fit with the Democrats.  That'd be crazy.
