Lots of talk in the state that Conway is now in big trouble for his re-election for AG. A year is a long time though.

Well, Martha Coakley could probably have had a 75-25 victory, and now her race is at least talked about as close.

Conway destroyed his future career with the Aqua Buddha ad. He could have been remembered as the rising star Democrat who almost beat a Republican in a red state during a wave year, instead he will be remembered for putting out sleazy attack ads and being a darling of DailyKos.

It's a real shame that Rand Paul - Rand Paul! - is about to win in a landslide, but Conway really blew it with the Aqua Buddah thing.

Yeah, like John McCain's career was ruined because of the Britney/Paris Celebrity ad.

Exactly. McCain's ad was much more sleazy and dishonest.

How hackish can you be, px75? Why don't you have a red avatar? Even red avatars like DeadFlagBlues admit that there is no comparison between the two ads.

I have no problem with the Aqua Buddha ad but the voters do and it was obvious that they were going to have a problem with it. The media manufactured a bunch of false outrage over the McCain ad. Nearly everyone hates the Conway ad. If Conway ever runs for higher office against a higher profile Dem in a primary, he'll have problems overcoming his "intolerant" stance on religion.

It's a good thing McCain would accept only substance on his side and never pick a big celebrity type as his running mate or anything.

To be fair, he (and his advisors) had no idea that she would turn out this way. They just threw a hail mary. I doubt he ever thought that she would turn out like she did.
