Way to misrepresent, Libby.  Not that I expected someone of your intellectual integrity to worry about a misleading title.

It doesn't say he's thinking about it.

But he would lose my support.

Sorry, there's nothing misleading about the title. Have you learned what a question mark is in school yet, Benjamin?

Prediction:

Whoever is president, and whoever is in Congress, we will have war with Iran within the next 3 years.

Does DINO Obama seek the Republican nomination instead of the Democratic nomination under this scenario?

What a stupid article...

War does NOT help boost a modern economy, as it did in WWII...

Particularly since we're already funding the military enough to fight a war in Iran.

Well... not entirely true... but it's a double-edged sword.

During WWII, increased need for production of planes, munitions etc etc certainly increased the number of jobs... but that also came at the cost increased government debt...

..and price fixing as well as certain amounts of central planning. It did, however, get the economy moving back to full employment and helped set up the post-war economic boom.

That's true - is essence, the War set up the mechanisms for the boom that occurred once it was finished.

According to many halfwits on the left, we've been months or at best a year or two away from attacking Iran for the last 6 or 7 years.  Now halfwits on the right are joining in the chorus?  Should we be concerned about halfwit bipartisanship?

Keep in mind the broken window fallacy. Every dollar spent on an artificial boom producing weapons of destruction (and then rebuilding the mess they leave behind) is a dollar that didn't go to real long-term economic growth. A dollar that went to Germany (or Iraq) is a dollar that didn't go to increasing production of food, clothing, and other domestic goods.

Anyone who thought a war with Iran was on the table was either fantasist on the left or a fetishist on the right... they know it would be a geo-political nightmare... Iraq x 100.

Maybe he'll attack Iran in October 2012 when he's 40 points behind in the polls against Ron Paul, and he'll only end up losing by 20 points.

I really doubt that the GOP is willing to go for Iraq 2.0. Its just like whether the GOP will try to impeach Obama (I really doubt it).
