I am actually going to put a lot of the analysis tonight and tomorrow night of the 2010 Mid-Terms on DVR as well as the returns on CNN from 3:45 pm Tuesday (Situation Room) - 5:30 am Wednesday.  I've got two hours on DVR tonight from 8-10, then I've got 7 hours tomorrow night from 4-11 and then nearly 14 hours Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.  I'm going to use up 23 hours of my DVR capacity just in the next 60 hours.

I'll record some. I can't do too much though, otherwise I'll overwrite my movies and recordings of Ugly Betty, Survivor, and King of the Hill.

Not sure why you'd want to listen to the cable talking heads. They don't say anything intellectually interesting or helpful.

What is the benefit of this?  Are you going to keep it on your DVR forever to show your grandkids?  Or repeatedly watch 23 hours of drivel?

It's a midterm, even in a wave year it's boring. Save your DVDs for Presidential years.

No, when you DVR something there's no hard copy- like TiVo.

I am actually rewatching the Election Returns all day today.  I have 13 hours 45 minutes of election that I DVR'd from Tuesday evening, all the way from 3:45 CT Tuesday evening through 5:30 CT Wednesday morning.  I will be watching this stuff all the way until 1:00 am Sunday morning (Daylight Time).

I recorded a lot of Election Night coverage, too, mainly because I didn't get to pay too much attention to the TV coverage that night. I recorded MSNBC to savor their reactions but I should have known they'd find a way to rationalize the results. Lawrence O'Donnell repeatedly said no Republican can beat Obama in 2012. Amazing.

Anyway, I've had a busy four months and now have a lot of down time so I don't feel as badly about watching this. That being said, I'm not watching all eighteen hours of coverage.  Tongue  Plus, my DVR is basically full at this point and I have more important stuff to watch/record.  Wink
