Mixed blessing for him. It might peel off a few more Maes supporters but it could also scare undecided voters and push them into the Hickenlooper camp.

There are still some undecideds. They tend to be overwhelmingly low information voters. Frankly, the people still voting for Maes are more likely to be die-hards than low information voters, I suspect.

He has fairly positive Favorables in Colorado, something that Palin definitely does not have.

It might scare undecideds who know little about Tancredo but hate Palin into voting for Hickenlooper who before were probably not going to vote.
