This is a very bare-bones idea I have for a term limits amendment. I welcome someone who's a better law writer (I don't know a better way to say that...) to flesh it out...

I believe we're due a budget. Is it up to the Governor to propose one?

I've been a bit lazy about it, but I also have no current revenus estimates. I asked dkrol when he was GM, but then there was the resignation... I can try to put something together, but we'll be a bit constrained.

I think this was the last budget passed, if that helps: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=210249.0

I'll propose a budget with expenditures and revenue rates within the next few days. ASFAIK, the one big change we had to tax law is that the gas tax has been indexed to inflation, so that estimate has definitely changed, and I assume that revenues from income taxes have fallen because of the recent economic downturn.

Inspired by the recent law concerning incestuous relationships:

[quote]Definition of Marriage Act

1. Marriage shall restricted to being between: one man and one woman; two men; or two women.

2. All married couples shall receive the same government benefits and responsibilities regardless of sexual orientation.

3. Marriage shall be a civil union between two consenting individuals of legal age (defined as 16 with parental permission, 18 without).

4. Incest (as defined by the Apparently Incest is Legal Now Act), shall be prohibited.

5. Sexual or marital relationships with the following shall be prohibited: animals; and minors (under the age of 18).

6. Anyone discovered to have violated any provision of this act shall be subject too a $100 fine.
