I would prefer if we spent longer than usual discussing this bill, if possible, due to the contents of it. Also, I'll probably make changes to the bill based on public opinion, in the survey that I'm conducting.

I'm proposing this now, so we have something to discuss.

I could find anything on this. We might have already dealt with this.

Can confirm, we don't seem to have any assisted suicide laws on teh books.
I'll modify my bill to replicate the Federal bill - https://uselectionatlas.org/AFEWIKI/index.php/Death_With_Dignity_Act

This will ensure that we have a law on the subject, should it be repealed Federaly.

The only reason I'm bringing this back so quickly is because Bore suggested that we should do it as a resolution rather than as a bill - to lobby the Senate for increased power.

I believe we're due a budget. Is it up to the Governor to propose one?

I've been a bit lazy about it, but I also have no current revenus estimates. I asked dkrol when he was GM, but then there was the resignation... I can try to put something together, but we'll be a bit constrained.
I think this was the last budget passed, if that helps: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=210249.0

This needs another citizen signature or an Assemblyman to sponsor.  The CJO cannot propose legislation on his own:
