If I were a Republican I'd be pissed as at hell at both for losing two Senate seats. I wouldn't be screaming about how much I want them to make a comeback or honor them with my sig. Imagine Democrats at the beginning of the year gushing about how much of a Freedom Fighter Martha Coakley is to get an idea.

Why are Democrats still gushing over Feingold and Sestak?

The former was an incumbent who did the best he could in a seat no Democrat probably could've won this year, the latter came far closer to winning a seat that any other Democrat should've.

O'Donnell and Angle both blew seats that should've been safe GOP.

Plus, Feingold and Sestak were both sane.

I can not comprehend why so-called "libertarians" would love a woman who is tied to an extreme authoritarian organization like the Church of Scientology and called for alcohol prohibition and a woman who preached about the evils of masturbation. Sounds about as anti-libertarian as is possible.

Which Republicans are you speaking of? Not any rational ones, of course.

I doubt there were many. Most of the talk was how pissed off we were at him because he lost us a senate seat.

There were calls to primary him.

If anyone was smart they would have known that Bayh was the ONLY Democrat who could have won that seat...

I wonder how much damage the primary campaign against Lincoln cost her...

Angle I don't mind so much.  O'Donnell I'm still pissed about, because that was an EASY win for us.

No Republican in their right mind should be gushing over loons Angle or O'Donnell.

They cost the Republicans two Senate seats.

Mike Castle would have won in Delaware.

Sue Lowden would have had an excellent chance of winning in Nevada.

Sharron "I will speak to the press after I'm elected" Angle and Christine "I am not a witch" O'Donnell should now take their rightful places on the trash heap of history.

Republican primary voters in Nevada and Delaware, and across the country, should have learned a valuable lesson in the type of individual not to nominate.

Nevada would have been close no matter who ran, so I'm not quite as furious with Angle. Though I do think Lowden would have prevailed. As for Delaware, I can't stand O'Donnell. We'd be one seat closer to taking the Senate in 2012 if it weren't for her. Delaware would have voted over 55% for Castle had he won the primary, regardless of if she endorsed him. Bah!

Precisely.  They'll never be satisfied until they take it to the utmost extreme - they can't stomach anything other than absolute power.

With sh**tty candidates like Mike Castle and Sue Lowden, the GOP wouldn't deserve to win.

Only the exit polls would deny that.

Hey hey, I'm not a big fan of Ms. O'Donnell either, but it's not like Michael Castle would've been a reliable vote for the Republican Party.

Plus, isn't abortion our "moderate" friend's single issue, without which he would be D-IN?  Given that, shouldn't he have supported O'Donnell over Castle?
