There's either a misprint with the opposing party's shore at 9th place on the Democratic list, or the Republican list is wrong, or the whole thing is fake.

And I wouldn't trust tv ratings anyways.

I watch two "Republican" shows (Big Bang Theory and Modern Family) and three "Democrat" shows (Community, Parks and Rec and 30 Rock).  Odd that Pubbies like BBT more than Dems....what with the name and all.  And yeah, the fact that Beck is at the top of Pubs list is pretty damning, but the Dems shouldn't be too proud of the Courtney and Khloe thing or 90210.

Anyone else notice the Republican list is.... well.... gayer?

Modern Family, American Idol, Desperate Housewives and Dancing with the stars. These shows are full of, if not outright gay people, certainly a queer senseability.

Good point.  And for that matter, would anybody be shocked if we found out Beck was a flamer?

Moms probably?

The Democrats are WAY better, but uh...Kourtney and Khloe take Miami?  Hahaha

Good job on The Amazing Race and Modern Family, Republicans. And while others might think that's definitely sarcasm, it's not.  Tongue

I see only one TV show you wouldn't have to pay me to watch on either list.

(And seriously - Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami?  That negates any advantage the Ds might have . . .)

Unfortunately I can't be too proud of this list thanks to Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami and 90210. And while Dancing With the Stars didn't make the Democratic list it has the same score and is just barely off it.

I always figured Desperate Housewives appealed more to liberal soccer moms types. I guess it's actually Stepford Wives-types watching it.

Amazed South Park didn't make the Republican list and that Family Guy didn't make the Democratic list.

It seems like the Democrats just put on NBC and leave it there.

Amazed South Park didn't make the Republican list and that Family Guy didn't make the Democratic list.

The report said that all animated comedies are more popular with younger audiences, who of course skew more liberal than conservative.  Shouldn't come as a surprise to anybody but you.

But I now you don't actually believe in your own theory on this by now.

Unsurprising, though I know none of these shows.

I didn't realized Keith Olbermann was so popular. Good to hear, but on the flip side there is Glenn Beck.

30 Rock is one of my favourite shows, so I'm glad it's on that list. I like Parks & Recreation, but I haven't put in the effort to find episodes on the internet, so I've only seen a few episodes.

But yeah, most of the other shows on both lists are crap or I haven't even heard of.

Shows I watch on that list are Mad Men, 30 Rock and Community. I'm basically an elitist.

Random fact:

More 18-29 years olds voted in American Idol 2002 than in the 2000 US Presidential Election.

I don't watch any of the shows on that list, and several of them I haven't even heard of.

But I see Lief can't resist being a partisan hack even when it comes to TV shows. Roll Eyes

Breaking Bad, Dexter and Mad Men, awesome. I'm surprised Weeds wasn't on the Democrats' list.
