The thing is, when he shows it, you that there is an army behind him to back it up.

(Also, the photo was altered.)

Altered?  It's a screenshot from a Quicktime video of Bush doing it.

Sorry Sleepy, the photo is real.  Others have posted the link.  I find it very telling that your first reaction is to immediately declare it to be phoney.

His pointer finger looks a bit odd because of some mation blur in the capture and the location of his thumb.  This lead some to speculate that his finger was photoshopped away when it was not.

Your the last one who should be criticizing others for jumping to conclusions.  Anyway, there is another similar fake photo of Bush going around, he might have been thinking of that one.  Personally, I don't care if George flips the bird.  Makes him human.

I just love his line "Just a one-finger victory salute."  Could be used this year towards Michael Moore.  hahaha

It is okay when my guy does it but it is not okay when your guy does it. Got it? My guy is right and your guy is wrong so there.

Oh, okay, it's all clear now.

I'm going to take this as sarcasm and agree.  I didn't think it was right when John Kerry told Rolling Stone that Bush f***ed up in Iraq, and likewise I don't think it was right for Dick Cheney to tell Patrick Leahy to f*** off.  Cheney's reaction was probably a bit more human, and I think that Kerry's was pandering because he happened to be getting interviewed in a magazine that glorifies that kind of language.  Nevertheless, it's wrong in both situations.

I definitely supported Cheney telling Leahy to  off, he insinuated that Cheney was a war profiteer.  And Bush calling Clymer a major league asshole was similarly humorous and I'm glad he didn't take it back.  Kerry might have been pandering with his f-bomb (since he did it the same way more than once) but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for the first use.

I think it's human and it's real.  Presidents curse all the time, Nixon, LBJ, Clinton, we just don't hear it.  I like knowing the President is a real guy, a human being, and a judiciously rare curse word serves to remind me of that.  Of course it has to be unintentional or he's just faking it.

My biggest disagreement with President Reagan is that the bombing didn't begin in five minutes.

Bush gave a very symbolic finger to Michael McMoore and the rest of the elitists by getting 60 million votes.

And Michael McMoore and the rest of the elitists gave a symbolic finger back by getting more votes than Ronald Reagan. Smiley

No, that wouldn't have a thing to do with it; that's crazy talk.
