What's noticeable beside the utter impracticability of all of these plans to be an actual invasion, is that the Nazi's don't bother to take out Britain first, and the heavy use of fifth column elements.

I think Life did a series on that.  It showed a gas station attendant setting fire to a Japanese tank.
