Well...what's the case for it? (or against)

Or I'll just be bringing it to a vote.

Inspired by this: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40194328/ns/us_news-life

I actually created it as a federal law, but then reckoned it'd be better at the regional level, so all of the "Atlasias" would need to be changed to "Mideast region". Would someone care to make that amendment?

Alright, I see the point. However, all you people against child labor, this bill is going to be an incentive to find loop holes to get their goods sold by kids and miss taxes. Luckily this can pass alone with very low taxes with our regional budget Wink

I guess we could consider just making them school-sponsored.

I like it.  Maybe we should consider adding the ability of schools and/or churches to have bingo nights, raffles, and "casino nights."  I know that these laws are rarely enforced for such charitable organizations, but rather than giving a wink and a nod lets just make it legal.

I find this fine as is.  And to be honest, if we want stuff passed this session, we need to move on it now.  Session ends in 4 days... one of those is a holiday.

The bill has been signed, though I'm disappointed that only 60% of our Assembly voted.
