Think Philip is nuts? Can't bring yourself to vote Badnarik? Not happy with Siege40's left-wing fiscal policies?

Vote DanielX for Senate in District 2!

You've got them right on your sig: political compass -6.25. That's left-wing. You can see in my sig that I am, in fact, right-wing.

Uh-huh. While in office, each time I cut taxes for lower and middle class people. And have never raised them.

Kinda moot now that I'm not running against you, but: what makes 'poor' or 'middle class'? Why is the government discriminating based off wealth in the first place? We are Atlasians, not rich or poor. This is why I oppose all graduated income taxes.

An to be honest, you're not that bad. There some Senators (IrishDemocrat, for ex.) who are simply atrocious - tax hikes anyone?

I've never understood the american preoccupation with taxation, and I reckon many of my fellow ROTW-ers'd agree. They caused a revolution in America, here they'd be lucky to change a government :S (Coincidentally, we have lower taxes, but fairer taxes. Maybe if you stop arguing about them all the bloody time, you might advance a bit) Wink

ROTW = Rest of the World.

I agree with Hugh - tax isn't anywhere near the issue that it seems to be in the US here in the UK.

Oh.  Yeah, I would agree with that.

In Canada, if a politician here yells, "He'll raise your taxes!!", the rest of us say, "Oh, okay."

lol. No kidding. Us Canadians are pretty relaxed about taxes. The reason I bring it up it because it is an issue though a small one, not to mention as a liberal by reducing taxes it reduces fears of ultra-liberalism.

Vote DanielX for Senate in District 2!

Ah, you state concise reasons not to vote for Phillip and Siege, but not for myself!

I guess everyone has a place in their heart for freedom.
