Personally of all the likely candidates, he's the one I want for 2012. If Obama is the Dem nominee (as in, if he does decide to run again) I will vote Romney. The only person who could perhaps give me pause in voting for Romney is if Hillary ran as the Dem nominee, but I'd have to judge her political stance against Romney's at election time.

I personally think Romney would make a great President if elected, much better than Obama.

Which Romney do you mean? Romney version 1994, Romney version 2002, Romney version 2008, Romney version 2010, other version?

Any version is superior to Sarah "Screech Owl" Palin.

Actually, most of any versions of any candidate is superior. Doesn't make Mitt great.

So you are a Republican after all? Good that you've come out of that closet.

He's very versatile.
Clinton was known for triangulation in order to overcome a left/right dichotomy.
But Romney is so awesome he could hexagulate in order to triangulate his triangulation.

That depends on the options available. I would rather have Mitch Daniels, Chris Christie, Bobby Jindal or Haley Barbour. But if the other option is Obama I will gladly settle for Romney.

No. He'd be more along the lines of the third coming of George Bush.

Romney might actually be competent, which would make him more dangerous than Palin.

Maybe, maybe not. He has his pluses and minuses. You know, sometimes even my crystal ball fails me. Sad

Palin's incompetence may be what makes big business somewhat... indifference to her. very impressed by Preston's suggestion to "follow the money" and observe the MM's semi-critical stance to Palin.. shows he may be reading some Manufacturing Consent
