I'd also like to state my discontent with capping the number of candidates the party can endorse. I understand that some people are worried about diluting the vote, but I think it is far more important to allow the maximum mount of people to see the spotlight in each and every election. This way, the party does not get stale and the same people won't be running over and over again.

I agree with much of the above sentiment: The party is young and was founded shortly before an election. Let's focus on building internal infrastructure and making everyone feel welcome in the party right now. There will be a time to focus on elections as the party consolidates, but right now the primary focus should be within.

Considering 3 would require us to take between 40% to 60% support in an election, I think it is a reasonable number. It would also assure that no matter how well we do, we will never have more than 8 senate seats (and looking at the current government administration [not the senate yet] that could happen at some point)

Impossible in Atlasia. Even JCP at larget extend wouldn't accomplish that.

Yeah. 4 is basically the maximum for a party of our size (and it would imply being very lucky).

I know your party is running plenty of candidates, but I would like to ask for whatever support and preferences you guys are willing to give. I have always and will always fight for the progressive, reformist agenda that this party supports. I have in the past worked with many if not most of you in Atlasia, both as fellow members of the JCP and in other capacities. Hopefully the Atlasian left can remain united, if not in party registration, at least in spirit and common aims and goals. Thanks.

You certainly have my support and I urge my comrades from UDL to support progressive candidates outside UDL as well.

It'd probably be safe to end the voting right now, but I don't exactly know how to count the executive council election. There's a reason I've never been in charge of Atlasian elections. Tongue

I can count the President race, though, since that's just for one position, but there's a slight problem..

Purple State: Antonio, Albaleman, HappyWarrior, Thomas D, Teddy, Purple State, Ilikeverin, Sbane, Marokai, Kalwejt, Ogis.

Dr. Cynic: Hans, Hashemite, Dr. Dynic, Hawkeye59, polnut, realisticidealist, EarlAW, belgiansocialist, Sewer Socialist, Wisconsin Gurl, Winston Disraeli.

It's currently an 11-11 tie. Tongue
