(Announcement in Trenton, NJ).

As it is almost certain, at this point, that Maryland will indeed be a part of district 2, and Pennsylvania will not, I, DanielX, announce I will be running for the Senate seat in District 2. I ask you, the voters of District 2, to decide whether or not you feel I will serve you best, or if you would prefer Philip, Badnarikin04, or Siege40

I promise, if elected, to serve a platform of fiscal responsibility, social liberty, and national security.

sorry for  confusing Siege40 with Nym90.  And Eastern Europe is finally free of Soviet domination.

Maryland is in District 2 for sure.

Also, Nym90 isn't your opponent, Siege40 is.

There is no open seat in D2 at the moment. D2 is a district that really won't like rightist conservatives (as your sig suggests you are) because it contains most of New England, which is generally leftist, and you don't have VA to be a conservative base. Don't let that stop you from running though

There are 5 districts, their composition can be seen here

There are also 5 regions, which are each made up of 10 states - these do not form any basis of federal representation, but instead gubernational representation. For more information about this see the Atlas Forum HQ

There are no smaller political divisions than districts and regions. Every district has a Senatorial election every two months, for a Senator who will serve a term of 4 months; Gubernational terms vary, but for the Mideast Region (containing MD) it is 4 months also. On December 10th is the next set of senatorial elections, the District 2B incumbent is Senator Siege40 - he is running again for his seat.

District 2 is already the most crowded race this election, with 3 candidates; and there is Republican running (Philip).
