That's odd, these kind of polls usually show Huckabee doing the best.

That's a very strong showing for Romney; he is usually just barely above Huckabee in national polls.  Though I don't think we have had a McClatchy-Marist in a while.

More often than not yes, but there have also been a few other cases in which Romney did better:

list of national polls

The last PPP national poll, for example, had Obama leading Huckabee by 3, but leading Romney by only 1.

How low would Obama have to fall for Palin to have any kind of shot against him? lol.

Unfortunately, I don't think he's going to get her in the end.

Romney is a better candidate on paper. I have a feeling people are not going to like him much once they see him on TV constantly. He's just so fake.

Huckabee is a much more dangerous candidate, imo.
