One of my first memories of Election Day 2000 was going on various sites and checking out mock polls.

Polls on videogaming sites (IGN, Emulators Unlimited, etc.) had very lopsided polls in particular. Bush was averaging in the 60%'s. Gore in the upper 20s or low 30s. Nader taking the rest.

Probably enough to flip Florida. Couldn't happen to nicer people!

Do we have exit polling info on Election 2000? (I don't subscribe to a package here.)

18-29 voted
Gore: 48
Bush: 46

It's almost a certainty that Males 18-29 voted for Bush with a solid Nader showing.

10 years seems so long ago...remind me, were enough computers around and the internet so widespread to allow males 18-29 from all economic classes to vote?  Or are we really talking about the white guys with some money or at least somewhat affluent parents?

Mostly middle class and above males who had hobbies of music, videogames, movies, etc. Lieberman was brought up for his drive to censor Mortal Kombat on the SNES/Genesis.

Exit polls did did show Bush voters as more inclined to use the internet as well.

Keep in mind Nader + Bush did have a majority of 18-29 year olds.
