While I like that Democrats are joining the GOP and that African Americans are joining the GOP, it seems kind of contradictory to the color blind society we're trying to create when the name of a thread is "Two black Democrats bolt for the GOP in Georgia".

I could edit it if people would like me to. I was just pointing out the story since it seems pretty rare for an African American politician to switch to the Republicans in recent years.
