I'm sooooooooo glad Brown wasn't up this year. Hopefully his situation will improve by '12.

Actually, it appears that nobody in Ohio is in good shape. The incoming Governor's favorables are 36-40? Wow.

Jim Jordan running would be good on multiple levels.

Most defeatable, and he'd be replaced as my congressman by a Republican who couldn't possibly be quite so extremely right wing.

Sherrod Brown's approval rating is higher than Voinovich's??? I'd say anyone in OH with positive approval rating is in decent shape.

I don't think Brown's situation is as dire as people make it out to be. He's never seen any negative publicity and has a good rep on many levels. For example, he's not in the congressional medical plan and hasn't been since he came to Washington.

Mike Dewine...hasn't that ship sailed??? How's he supposed to run for senate when he's comitted to repealing Obamacare? Nice campaign promises, Mike.

Because he'll need to "carry on the fight to Washington" once the lawsuit fails to kill Obamacare.

Has anyone heard any rumors about Jordan running? These two polls were the first I'd heard.

Oh, and the day before her inauguration a GOP aide reports Taylor is almost definitely running.

He was supposedly the establishment's favorite but a couple of weeks ago he stated that he "leans strongly" against running.

Really? The establishment I believe has told him its Taylor's turn. The Ohio GOP is second to none to avoiding serious primary fights.

He'll be in better shape by 2012 if Obama is.

He doesn't seem to be in such bad shape - he's winning, and given the current climate, I think he's doing pretty well.

I'd be interested to see how Brown looks now and if Kasich's growing unpopularity has had any effect to swing the electorate Dem.

Both are unpopular because they're incumbents. It's unlikely there's diametrically opposing swing.

Jim Jordan sounds like an ideal sacrificial Lamb.
