What percentage of Americans agree with Christine O'Donnell on masturbation?

I voted 0-10%, but I think I should have voted a little higher concidering very few women do it whereas just about every man does.

There is so much wrong with this I don't even know where to start. I think it is safe to say that the number of women who masturbate is signfiicantly lower than the corresponding number for men.

Even if so it's not a minority, the lowest number I've ever seen is around 60%.

Virtually all men masturbate regularly, it is safe to assume.  No doubt you are correct that there are more sexually disfunctional women out there, but still, the vast majority probably do masturbate, whether they admit it or not.

I'd be surprised to hear they even admit it to their closest friends.

Well, considering that there are so many pathetic losers who can't get laid without having to pay (and plenty who can't even get someone to get naked in front of them without payment), I would imagine that the percentage is fairly low.

A rather sizable portion of religious people would agree with her. Certainly most practicing Catholics and evangelical types. It is, after all, the official position of a number of religions that masturbation is either bad or at least a minor corruption of some part of pure sexuality. I am not sure that I disagree with that; I believe that that view has some good points that I rather doubt many of you care about. That said, I'm sure most, though not all, of those people who hold the view that masturbation should be avoided are guilty in some shape or form of it themselves. Not that I'd ever attack someone for it.
