Statement from PRESIDENT-ELECT Tmthforu94

On January 1st, over 50 days ago, we began this journey. A journey to bring bi-partisanship to the White House. A journey to finally give this nation an active, center-right administration. From the get go, we had doubters, and many felt we couldn't overcome "Bgwah's Army". Well, this past weekend, we proved to them that we could!

I want to thank everyone who has been supportive of me along this journey - you really don't know how much it means to me. Now, a few specific thank you's. A-Bob, you're my closest ally on here. You're the person who I first began talking to about a run in February, and throughout this entire campaign, you've been completely supportive. Yankee, I don't think the RPP could ask for a better party chairman than you. What you do for this party, and Atlasia, is simply amazing, and you deserve to be recognized for it. Dallasfan, you're my wingman. I've had so much fun working with you throughout this campaign, and I can't wait to continue working with you in the White House.

To my opponents, Oakvale, Ben, JJ, as well as Marokai and Conor, I thank you for joining me in this race. We discussed many important issues throughout this campaign, and I look forward to working with all of my opponents in the coming weeks and months, because I think each campaign had specific ideas that would be beneficial to the game.

Tonight is just the beginning of our quest to improve this game. We have a long road ahead of us. Throughout the campaign, I used many common words candidates use to get elected, I know that. Bi-partisanship, working together, yada. But I'm serious when I say that. If we are to keep this game alive, we have to change the way we're playing this game. Let's end the bitterness and drama, and let debate begin focusing on actual issues, such as game reform and the national debt. That's how we're going to get this game moving again. I truly want to improve this game. Atlasia is an important part of my life, and it's special. I want others to be able to feel this way about it too.

In the next few days, we will begin a transitional period, as we prepare to ascend upon the White House in just a few weeks. Within a day or so, there will be "open season", so to speak, on cabinet positions, which I'll discuss at a later time. I also plan to spend these few weeks fulfilling my current position as Attorney General.

Something else I just thought of, you guys just gave me a great birthday present, as I'll actually be inaugurated as President on my birthday. So please don't get mad at me if I'm not incredibly active on my first day on the job, as I'll have a lot on my RL plate.

Oh wow! Thank you all so much, once again. Now, let's get to work!

It has indeed been a hard-fought campaign, but according to Secretary Franzl we have won.

All I can do is thank not only those that voted for us, but those that voted period. Together, we all participated in what has been a very competitive election. Oakvale and Snowguy were nothing but class acts during the campaign, and I sincerely thank them for one hell of a race.

I have always prided myself on being concise and to the point, and will continue in that tradition tonight.

Many would say that the battle is over, but it has only just begun. Now we must govern.

The President's Cabinet

Dallasfan and I both agree that we need to start the process of assembling a cabinet as quickly as possible, so it can end as quickly as possible and we can be fully prepared on March 4th.


As President, I will have the privilege of nominating Atlasians to the following cabinet positions: Attorney General, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Secretary of Forum Affairs, Secretary of Internal Affairs, Registrar General, GTO Ambassador, Game Moderator, and Moderator General.

I want this to be a completely open process. If you are interested in any of the above positions, please contact me via pm as quickly as possible, and state which position you would like. I will then respond to your message with a series of questions, which could possibly turn into an interview.

What I'm looking for: Activity, Commitment, Knowledge in the given position, Experience, Activity, Activity, Activity
