What would I bring to the Council?

-I'd be a solid vote for renewing Polnut's term as Party Chair, as he's been great in dealing with the recent turmoil and is one of the main forces binding the party.

-Following recent events I'll try be a major voice for a United Party, which has the confidence to collaborate with other voice on the Atlasian Left

-I will continue to be a force for maintaining member's impact on decision making at the top of the Party

-I'll be a clear-cut voice from the serious Left of the party

-I'll try to make sure the party doesn't forget about the special needs of the Western Regions and their special relation with the UDL

I'd like to congratulate Ben. Though I'd like to ask him whether he could perhaps put forward a proposal to have these kind of by-elections have their own thread in the future as the low turn-out in this election really is rather disappointing and probably (?) due to low awareness of the fact that it was happening.

Also, noone voted for me? really? Sad

I'm aware of that, and would have preferred to have a separate thread... but with the exception of the presidential primary, all other internal ballots have occurred in this thread.
