Based only on photos, I wouldn't have voted for Morgan and now Morton
.
I intended to vote for Harriman soon: fine he's already out.
Now, it's really difficult as we have eventually the "real" list of governors.
Eliminate
7 Seymour
2 DeWitt Clinton
1 Spitzer
Keep
2 Pataki
1 TR
(even though I'll cease to protect Theodore next round and hope I don't make a mistake by not giving a point to
Cleveland or Tilden or George Clinton
)
From next round, we'll only eliminate 2 governors in each round.

Do you speak about the survivor itself (well, it's a bit more suspenseful since 2 rounds)
or about my void comments (which are of no great importance and are mostly here to break some monotony in couting points, inserting photos, updating posts, etc.
) ?

The survivor wasn't that exciting for a long period when we had to sit through ten rounds of eliminating boring 19th century governors. Things are much more interesting now.
Elimination
3 Seward
2 Tilden
1 G. Clinton

Even me, I would have eventually dropped TR.
I like him very much (my favourite US presidential figure, in fact), but his term as governor was short. He was probably a good one but, now, the list has shortened and we've got very difficult choices.
It's a pity for him to have been ousted in a tie for the 3rd place just in the last round in which we eliminate 3 governors...

Well, I guess it's a good result for George Clinton, given its points in the very first round.
Still, I'd have seen him go on a little longer.
Eliminate
2 DeWitt Clinton
2 Tilden
2 Lehman
Keep
1 Pataki (for the last time: it'll be too dangerous after that
)
1 Hughes

He probably figured that Pataki would be gone if the voting were something like 3-2-1

Let me be clear (not especially for you, Hans & Edu, I think you know I'm "clean", but more for some forumers less accustomed with our lil' world): I set the rules BEFORE the survivor begins and I don't change them !
Sometimes, it can be good for my favourites, but I have many examples in which I "lose" because of my own rules... (in the Asian countries, it was mixed, first not so bad, then terrible; maybe French cities, I don't remember, but we can search in old survivors, and there are many examples).
I put my rules in magnificent xls files
and I"re-discover" them when I update the survivor in each round, so that I don't vote in my own survivors with the knowledge of next round's rule.
And you've noticed that my rules are quite homogeneous, so that every knows, from the first round or the first in a series of rounds, that we'll have eliminate + keep, or only eliminate, etc.
But, in the same pattern, each round is different: 3-2-1, 4-1-1, 2-2-2, etc.
I try to make things so that everyone is as much on par with me as it is possible.
Of course, you are allowed not ot believe me
.
But what would be the interest and the fun to "win" after having cheated ?!?
I'm 40 years old (
) and I'm not Libertas
...
The only time I've stuffed the ballot is now survivors' History
(and it was after hughento's green light !).
But now, if Dewey AND Rockefeller are both threatened, it would be outrageous (what would you say if Braun was already
), maybe I should "do" something
