Even February 2008 was way more vicious than this.

Since I only joined in May of last year, I can't say that this has been the nastiest, considering there were probably much, much worse in the past.

However, I can say that the events leading up to the election were probably some of the nastiest since Alfleitch got elected in February 09.

I think it's worth noting that the early parts of elections are generally nasty as the early excitement can get overheated. So is the end of the election, when people are trying to edge in for those last voters on the fence. But it seems that from now until that end point things will be pretty congenial. At least I hope so. Smiley
