I don't know if this has been posted.  I just saw the commercial for it during Bears-Seahawks.

First interview by the Obama Admin with FOX News.

Obama cares more what right-wingers like O'Reilly think of him than what liberals of him.

Of course.  His appearance has nothing to do with taking the opportunity to get his message across to the largest possible audience by a mile.

So wait, they're not turning the Super Bowl pregame over to Reagan 100th birthday celebrations?

He's the President. He can go on all the networks whenever he wants.

True - sorta.  But even if he commandeered all networks, cable and broadcast, no President would get half the audience he would for a Super Bowl interview.  It is by far the most watched show on TV every year, with about 100,000,000 viewers.

No, Bret Baier interviewed Obama last March.

Indeed. It would be good if he took advantage of this interview to tell them "screw you bunch of retards", but for whatever reason I doubt it will be the case.

That wouldn't particularly be in the interest of anyone that supports his agenda.

I think it would instead. One of the main reasons of the democrat's demise last november is Obama's lack of pugnacity and his trying to please to people who he will never please. By doing that, he has both alienated his liberal base who saw him as weak and convinced independents that the right had legitimate arguments against him. It's time for Obama to to make it clear that he won't keep making concessions without any gain.

He can (and should) make that point, I agree.....but saying "screw you bunch of retards" would make him seem very unpresidential Smiley

Isn't that what Chris Christie says a year now to his opponents?

Again, President Obama is not appearing on Fox News.  He's appearing on the Fox TV network during the most-watched TV show of the year.  Doing so is a no-brainer to all but those with a political axe to grind.
