I raised my concerns with this bill early in the debate.  The current Registrar General shared my concerns:

Fritz you're right. When it is possible to De-Register, then the RG must make a extra list for all who are de-registrated. In this list must stand all dates of region change and when he left Atlasia.

I think there is no need for a De-Registration. Who wants to leave Atlasia need only 3 times not to vote.
However, I'm open for a law like this, but it must be simple as possible.

It is my feeling that the final version of the bill failed to address these concerns.  This makes the job of the RG unnecessarily complex, and as a former RG this is a concern very near and dear to me.  Already the RG must keep track of number of elections missed, and the date of the last regional move.

I think we made a step in the right direction with the third constitution, having de-registration occur after 3 missed elections rather than 4.  I really don't see why it is a big deal to have to wait 4-6 months to have your name removed from a list that you signed up to be on.

Yeah, I really dont understand why someone just cannot simply stop voting. Eventually, they'll be removed from the voter rolls.

Why not just create a do not pm list instead?
