Can the executive appoint a committee of those interested in such a project? I think this is needless legislation, much like the corn syrup one. Of course, if we're looking to make legislation for the sake of making it, then let me know and I'll shut up. Tongue

Well considering we have more than enough people interested, I think this is worth a shot. We can always amend or repeal this legislation if it doesn't work out like we hope.

Either an executive-created committee or a legislative-created committee, this would work well. If this does not pass, and if I happen to win the February election, I'd be more than happy to work with Bgwah on creating a committee, so that no matter what happens here, it'll still be given a shot.

It's not necessarily the amount of people in the committee that concerns me, it's just the fact that, the whole process of putting together a 3 person committee is used for.. selecting a wiki article every month. The duties of the committee don't really seem to fully justify the energy in putting one together.

And while it's great that you seem to HAVE the amount of people required, the three people I see here are Bgwah, Kalwejt, Tmth. Are we creating another element to the game that will also just be dominated by totally-not-new-at-all people? You guys are already active and involved in the game. You're not stimulating activity at all that way.

There aren't a lot of active editors on the Wiki... Maybe 10 or so at most. This bill's goal is to bring attention and activity to the Wiki and to increase its overall quality. I certainly don't expect brand new members to start editing the Wiki right after they join Atlasia.

So, Kal can be the senator assigned by the senate, I can be  the citizen assigned by the senate and Tmth or Bgwah can be assigned by the president. (If Tmth is president by then, I don't think he'll insist on being in this).

Is this okay with everybody?
