The obvious solution to this problem is to try and change the social circumstances which make people become intruders in the first place [/obvious sociological answer]
Of course, that would require too much effort and courage from liberals and too much intelligence from libertarians to ever be effective.
Which, unfortunately, is oftentimes par for the course in the States.
If we armed everybody in the country than no one would get robbed, mugged, killed or raped!
A country where criminals assume victims are armed, shoot first, and then do what they want!
Honestly, being able to buy a nuke may be pushing it a bit, and there may actually be reasoning behind preventing people from owning one. Because, the lowest damage a nuke could have, would probably be wiping out a city block.
Tanks really aren't a gun rights issue. More of a road-safety issue. I though that
this appraisal was rather interesting. What do you think?
