I think Eisenhower may have come close to 80 percent in a Kansas or Nebraska district but I don't think he actually cracked 80 percent in any. Stevenson 's best district I believe was probably one in Georgia where he would have gotten in the low-mid 70s I'm guessing.

I had no idea that Stevenson did that badly in the South. Interesting.

I'm not so sure, Suffolk County New York gave Ike 77% of the vote and it had enough population for 2 CDs at the time.  If it did have two districts...
