Thank God I'm not a Republican.  In any event, I don't see how the primary could split between three southern, old, white, male, social conservatives.

Yup. Huckabee would probably still lose the general, but it wouldn't be the blowout that the other two would engender.

I agree that Huckabee is underestimated. I like him, and I honestly have no reason to. But I really can't help it. If he ran against Obama I would have a strange urge to vote for him, even though logically I support Obama.

That really scares me, which is why I hope he doesn't run.

This is pretty bad. Gingrich is damaged goods, Huckabee is a big government conservative, and Barbour has racial issues. I can't say I'm inclined to vote for any of them.
