Shouldn't the convention be getting to doing stuff? I.e. platform/bylaw amendments or candidate endorsements.

Yes. I'm still waiting to hear back from Han and Nik as to whether they are interested in party leadership, but since things for some reason are pretty slow going around here thus far, I'll go ahead and open the floor to other business. Wormy, would you like to rephrase/clarify your proposed amendment to our bylaws?
Also any candidate or supporter of a candidate may make their case for the party's endorsement.

Sorry about being late, but I regretfully must decline the position of Whip, as I am quite busy. I am thankful for the nomination, though.

I recommend that we select Primus's "Sgt. Baker" as this year's party theme song

unless there is any objection, I'd like to move ahead tonight with endorsements for presidential and senate candidates so that we have that finished up well before the election. i do not have a list of regional candidates, but if someone does, we can do endorsements for these as well.

I suggest we endorse Tmth and Dallasfan for President. I'm running for Northeast Senate, so I think it'd be cool for ya'll to endorse me

Really? They'd endorse you over the candidate in their own party?
