$194,000 is his total. It shows that he has potential to raise money, but also that no one did any serious fundraising in 2007, because the totals we're talking about for Romney, Palin, et al. are very small compared to what they'll need to raise, and Santorum may be the only one trying. But, yeah, it's not nothing.

Very impression. Santorum should announce so he can formally begin his campaign if he's serious about being elected President next year.

is it really?  In Q1 2007 Mitt Romney raised $21M. The absolute bottom of the barrel GOP candidate Jim Gilmore raised $207K.

I think it is just the case that Santorum has been more active, but you can be sure that Mitt and some others are getting their donors poised to write checks.

It is said that Obama is going to shoot for $1B (thats with B), and he doesn't have to spend any on primaries.
