Yep, nothing to see here, RNSC, unfortunately. Invest in better races.

Then isn't it wise not to post about a state you really know nothing about? Seems pretty logical. You have no one to yell at but yourself.

I just posted as a maybe suggestion from someone who wasn't very experienced with California politics. Sure, it was probably better to stay out, but I was just trying to discuss. Instead, I got blindsighted by both px75 and the idiot above me, which I can't say was particularly merited.

If you don't like someone, use the ignore button instead of whining about them.

Feinstein (and almost any other Democratic candidate besides maybe Angelides) will have absolutely no trouble next year with Obama on top of the ticket.

Maybe as republicans we can hope for a miracle if Campbell is nominated...
Agreed. I'm not saying he'd win, but it isn't impossible to make up 14 points. McMahon made up a lot of ground last year in Connecticut, and turned a race that was once considered to be safe for Democrats into a tossup until a week or so before the election when it pulled back to Blumenthal.

Campbell ran in 2000 and got crushed, so it's not like he has a record of even getting close to winning. Republicans couldn't win in California in 2010, so there is no reason to even think that they'll do better in 2012.

Not really: https://uselectionatlas.org/POLLS/SENATE/2010/polls.php?fips=9&class=3

She never led or was tied in a single poll against Blumenthal, and the closest she got was a three point deficit in September.
