Hey! Never did I think I'd be sitting on this side of a confirmation, especially for Attorney General! Tongue

After Marokai resigned as AG, I contacted Fritz, and let him know that for as long as he needed me to, I could update the Senate Statue on Wiki. The President then asked me if I'd be willing to serve out the remaining few weeks as AG. Though I originally declined, he finally persuaded me to. Which brings me to this hearing!

I'm open to any questions the Senate may have.

Is there any specific area of the wiki you hope to update right away?
The requirements for the AG regarding Wiki are for the Senate Statue, Constitutional Amendments, and Supreme Court decisions. Not only will I make sure all of those pages are updated frequently, I'll also try and keep the main page as up to date as possible. Beyond that, I'll be actively looking to update random outdated articles, and will try and get a page for as many members who currently don't have one as possible. And if anyone doesn't have Wiki access but would like to make edits to their page, I could certainly help them there.

Tmthforu, will you keep a format of dividing statute page into Senate/year/month sections, and will you continue to add brief summaries to supreme court case pages?

(sorry, I had to ask something Tongue)
Thanks, I love questions. Tongue

Absolutely to your first question, which wouldn't be too hard, since for now, I'll only be in there for February (and I guess early March). For your second question, yes, I think that's a great idea. I do notice that several recent court cases don't have any sort of summary, and I will try working on making some summaries for those upon being confirmed.

What experience/qualifications/etc. do you have with Atlasian law that would prepare you for a position such as this?
I mainly took this job to help out on the Wiki Statue. Like Kalwejt, I do not have a lot of experience defending Atlasian law. However, throughout my 2+years of service to this game, I have come to understand the law very well, and have actively followed just about every court case that has occured during my time. I know the procedure very well, and I'd know what to do as well. There are also several other Atlasians who are experienced in law who I know could also help me out here, if need be.

Well, to answer Kalwejt's post, I believe the primary responsibility of the Attorney General is to be the principal law enforcer and adviser of the federal government, not to update the Wiki, and I would hope that any nominee for the position be prepared for that role.
The primary reason of Fritz appointing me was to make sure the Wiki stayed completely up-to-date. I can assure you that if I have to lead a case, I will be prepared to lead it, and I'll do an effective job.

Too bad.

The first person I ever voted for President was DWTL. Tongue
