Stripper Tax to 'stimulate' the economy?
«
on:
February 09, 2011, 03:14:20 am »
One of the features marking the left is their constant efforts to suck more and more money out of the pockets of the citizens, and into the grubby hands of bureaucrats.
Now, Luther Campbell has proposed that Miami-Dade adopt a stripper tax stating that:
“I think we can stimulate the economy with a tax on strippers.”
So, should we have special taxes on ’strippers’ to ‘stimulate’ the economy? And just how high should we make those taxes?
Now remember all you lefties, Campbell is black, and therefore opposing his proposal would (in leftist cant) be ‘raaaciiist’!

I want to thank Lewis, both for bumping this thread and giving an example of "Non Sequitur" replies.
Meaning:
[count] : a statement that is not connected in a logical or clear way to anything said before it ▪ We were talking about the new restaurant when she threw in some non sequitur about her dog. ◊Non sequitur is a Latin phrase that literally means “it does not follow.”

We had it figured long ago Carl that non-sequitur is your middle name.

Sad, and I even posted are rather basic explanation of the term, which you seem to have not comprehended.

It's not bumping when the last reply was ten minutes before, Carl.
(Guilty as charged on the nonsequitur part, of course.)

Perhaps you non sequitur wasn't intention, but rather merely a matter of inability to comprehend.
So, to put it a simply as possible, do you support the 'stripper tax'?
