It's obvious how much of an utter trainwreck a Bachmann candidacy would be (though Kennedy was too), but can you improve on this?

Alvin Greene would beat Bachmann, BRTD. Klobuchar would knock her into next year.

I wanna say better, but Bachmann would definitely raise more money than Kennedy.

The county map would look similar, but Klobuchar would do a point or two better.

I'm assuming those three blue counties east of Hennepin County are Bachmann's district?

The northern two are, but the southernmost one is not. Prior to that, it was Mark Kennedy's district, and Kennedy ran for Senate and lost by more than 20 points. There's a history of congressmen from that district running statewide and doing horribly.

Looking at the map, it looks like Kennedy lost his own CD, even as Bachmann won the race for the open seat. lol.

Worse. She would be crushed. Bachmann isn't quite in the same zone as Christine O'Donnell, but she's in a neighborhood adjacent. Plus Klobuchar has acquitted herself well as an incumbent so far. She is quite a charming lady really. Granted, Bachmann tends to be as well - when she isn't talking about public policy or anything else of material substance.

She'll lose badly, yes. But She'll do better then Kennedy if 2012 is a GOP year, if it's 2006 redux then Bachmann may not even hit 35%

Uh, some signs point to that Bachmann is considering a run. So the question is if she does run does Klobuchar do better or worse than her first election. Valid question.

An even more valid question is how you've managed to get away with your pathetic trolling for so long.  Mark Kennedy lost over four years ago.  Everyone's moved on since then except you.

Very convincing, Blubb.

She would definitely do worse, as she's too conservative for the general electorate in MN.

So was Kennedy, and he wasn't as gaffe-prone as Bachmann.
