We've all seen the national mapo showing Bush won 31 states, >80% of the counties, etc.
But if Electoral Votes were won in each congressional district (like they are in ME and NE), how many would Bush have won and how many would Kerry have won?

Bush won all the CDs in NE, MT, WY, AK, ND, SD, ID, AR, WV.

Kerry won all the CDs in ME, CT, VT, DE.

The results of the following were: (Bush CDs first)

IA 3-2
NH 1-1
SC 5-1
LA 6-1
MN 5-3
VA 9-2

I don't know about the rest of the states--does anybody have any more results?

Not much useful input here, but I'd bet a bundle that you can add UT, KS, and OK to the list of states that Bush carried all the CDs.

Similarly, I'd wager that Kerry's list of CD sweeps includes MA, RI, and HI.  No more for hime than these, though.

I would infer that these results would be accurate (Bush CDs first):
MO:  6-3 (CD1-St Louis, CD-3 and the KC CD-4 to Kerry)
TN:  7-2 (Nashville and Memphis CD to Kerry)
KY:  5-1
NM: 2-1
MN: 5-3 (confirmed by MN SoS website)

Amazingly, on neither the Maine nor Nebraska SoS websites (the two states that decide EVs by CD), could I find the Presidential vote results by CD, although Maine did have the 2000 results.

It is interesting that both these states have never ended with an EV split, though Maine came ever so close in 1976 when Ford barely carried the state and both CDs.

Dunno 'bout that: I think Kerry won the Louisville district (he won the county, and the district is more Democratic than the county).

Dr Dan took 60% there, BTW

You are most probably right.  I prematurely based my statement on Northrup's 60 to 38 victory.  Kerry did win Jefferson County by 5,592 votes (1.6%) so he certainly (I would agree) carried the 3rd CD.  I've amended my post to reflect this reality.

Kerry probably also took MO-3, Gephardt's old district, making MO 4-3.

He also likeley swept CT.

I checked the Missour SoS site with no luck.  (Most states do not report CD Presidential results, at least in an easy to retrieve fashion.)  But, if you are right, that would make Missouri 6 to 3.
