The Office has been OK without him, although the ratings are falling fast.

I've been on and off about the new season of The Office, but I'm generally enjoying it. I dislike Spader's character, though. Loved Jo. And why is Gabe still there? Waste of space.

I still watch the Office (watching last week's right now actually), but it's just filler and its not one of the shows I really look forward to.

I believe the simple truth is that they became somewhat alarmed when they realized that I really meant to write what I believed. There is a peculiar parallel between some of our great Northern "liberals" and some of our outstanding Southern liberals.

Some of the people in both classes share the deep-seated convictions that only their convictions can possibly be the right ones. They both inevitably say the same thing: "We know the Negro and what is best for him."

I have caught up with them on hulu, often times I forget it's a comedy. I usually laugh once or even less per show. Andy is a complete screw up as the boss, though I never liked him since day one when he was in Connecticut.

This episode was fantastic. It would be hard to find a better way to go out.

I liked the scene where they basically made fun of the people on the internet who make Alison Brie gifs.

Yeah, that scene was pretty much intended to do that.

One of Annie's bubbes is already dead, let's not forget.

Also, it's kind of funny how much The A.V. Club likes Community.

it'll "return" in low volume slots just to air out the remaining episodes that have been recorded but it's DOA.

I don't think they've started taping the second half of this season yet.

well then there are no guarantees.
I suppose nothing is guaranteed, but the link above (and another stating that Joel Hodgman will be guest starring at some point) seem to indicate that it is at least coming back.

It wasn't doing great in the ratings, but it's on NBC.  AND it was up against the Big Bang Theory, which was the first scripted television show to ever beat American Idol head to head a few weeks ago.  It's (Community) probably not all that expensive to make.  It's not good that it left this winter, but I don't think it's fate is sealed just yet.

NOW!  (well, I'm going to watch Modern Family (again) and let the DVR get a bit ahead on Community)

and the show did good in the ratings...(well, good for NBC)....link
Quote
Without the CBS comedies at 8pm, NBC got a big boost. The post-hiatus return of Community drew a season high 2.2 adults 18-49, up 46% vs. a 1.5 rating in its last new episode in early December. Community was the #1 show of the night among adults 18-34. 30 Rock had a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating, also a season high, up 43% vs. a 1.4 rating at 8pm last week.
Not going up against BBT always helps.

Yeah, let's hope it wasn't a flash in the pan from being away. I've grown to really love the show and want to see where it goes.
