More of her teasing I suspect than actual indication she will run.

With everyone wetting themselves over Chris Christie she wants to keep her name in the mix.

Mitt Romney: "No one better qualified than a man, a father, a Mormon"

Obama: "No one more qualified than a black"

Imagine the reaction...

Obama: "No one more qualified than a black"

Imagine the reaction...

While there will be reaction to Obama saying that, remember how Sotomayor was handled? Anyone who accused her of racism was attacked.

Of course, I am of the belief that 'race' and sex should never be a factor.

Sotomayor didn't say "no one more qualified than a Latina," she was talking about the value of different perspectives. Loads of people piled onto her for those comments, too, and to the best of my knowledge nearly all of them are still active in politics today and more powerful than ever...

Also, I don't remember Sotomayor running for elective office.

I know what she said. Skin tone and ethnicity don't give a unique perspective. It's racism.

We agree, then; it's a person's experience with racism, subtle or deliberate, along with sexism and various other human foibles that give them a unique perspective, not literally their skin tone or ethnicity.

Sarah says no one better qualified than a woman, mom and former Governor.

Could be, but one woman, mom and former Governor who is clearly NOT qualified is Sarah Palin.

Jodi Rell is never returning to politics unfortunatly, she was a true definition of centrist.

On another note...does Palin not remember she quit as Governor? That's not being qualified. Because I can guarantee, if she was in the White House she'd have a lot more law suits than when she was Governor, will she quit then too?

She makes a valid point, only problem is she sees herself as that person and if push comes to shove Obama will trounce her next November.

Nonsense. You think you'd have the same perspective of life if you were born black? Hispanic? A woman? Gay? Richer? Poorer? European? African? Japanese?

If you think someone's sexual, racial, socio-economical or national make-up has no bearing on his or her view of life you're very misguided.

I can just see a Presidential candidates' debate between Obama and Palin.

Laugh Fest 2012!  It would be a total joke.

I'm Hispanic, and while I get certain looks and attitudes, it doesn't not make me a better judge of anything.
