Let's say in 2012 Obama get's renominated, Huckabee wins the Republican nomination and chooses John Thune.

Bloomberg chooses to run as an independent, while Paul is angry at the Republicans for choosing a moderate and runs with the Libertarians. Who wins and why?

Obama takes this, if economics isn't be in flames. Paul would be third placed candidate because your structure and he could get some electoral votes (Alaska, Utah and New Hampshire). Bloomberg would have strength (two-digits) only in small states of New England, Delaware, Oregon, Nevada and maybe New York. Huckabee can pull an upset if Paul manages to get youth and blue-collar vote in Rust Belt, because Huckabee in true, is a social conservative New Dealer.

Obama *vomits*

It's inevitable with the conservative split between Huckabee and Paul. (I'm not counting Bloomberg as a right-winger, and I think he might take some votes from Obama as well.)

Huck keeps Obama under 400 by simply performing miserably in swing states and getting really strong showings in Appilachia and Ozarkia. He almost loses Texas and Georgia due to strong 3rd party showings in each.

Obama would win unless the economy was in horrible shape. Huckabee would second, and Paul would pull off a decent showing at third. If things were sufficiently bad, Obama COULD lose, to either Huckabee or Paul.
