Little early to be talking about an office, isn't it?

As a lot of people on here may know, I'm a little over enthusiastic when it comes to these things Tongue

What kind of furniture do you have in your office? I hope there's a window.

Meh bump Tongue

So with Election day approching, I'd like to take a moment to thank my colleagues for working so hard to improve life for all of you in the Northeast.

While I'm grateful for the job, it's a shame that I had to become speaker of the assembly under such unfortunate circumstances.

But nevertheless, thank you all for your support. I look forward to working to make an even better NE in my next term.

God bless,
-Jake

Hello all,

I hope this message finds you in good health. I recently joined the effort to recall Governor Ghost_white and it's time I break my silence. It is an understatement to say that our region is in shambles and needs an active Governor, ever since Ghost_white has taken office, our deterioration into an image of a 'joke region' has only increased. Our Governor is ineffective and probably now regrets even running for the position. I regret voting for him over Polnut, who would have been far more active than our current Governor. In an event of a recall election, I will be running for Governor. You don't have to agree with me to say that I have enthusiasm and I would be a better Governor than our current one. Many prominent Atlasian political figures have complimented me on my enthusiasm and will to help, despite the fact that they may not agree with me. We need to improve the image of the region and I'm here to do just that. Under my watch, the Northeast will be a bi-partisan region open to ideas from every party and a region that is no longer viewed as a 'joke.' I can assure each and every Northeast citizen that views this message that I will be the most active Governor, the most bi-partisan Governor, the most productive Governor that this region has ever had. Finally, I have a message for every single person that doubts that I could be an accomplished Governor...Just watch me.

Regards,

-Jake

I'm not in the North-East, however, I do support the re-call of an inactive Governor and I know you have enthusiasm. I guess that means I endorse you, so endorsed! (though my endorsement probably carries no weight whatsoever)

Did they actually rule yet that there'll be a new election, or are you preparing in case of one?

I'm preparing in case of one-though the election for Governor will be held in June if there isn't a recall.

If the governor is not recalled, he could quite easily be impeached for violating one of the election administration sections of the Constitution once the new Assembly is sworn in.

Meh, impeachment proceedings are long. If necessary, we could make it happen, but the election for Governor is scheduled for June, so for the Governor to be impeached just days before the election...

Good afternoon fellow Northeasterners,

I hope this message finds you all in good health. As some of you remember, I challenged RowanBrandon in a Senate race back a few months ago and lost a nailbiter. Now, after having an extensive discussion with fellow Assemblyman Napoleon, we have agreed to endorse each other in our respective race (I for Governor and he for Senate.) Simply put, I trust Napoleon and I couldn't think of anyone else in this region that I'd rather have fill this Senate seat. Rowan does not stand for what the Northeast stands for, whereas Napoleon does. I know that if elected, Napoleon will fight his hardest to restore the Northeast to prominence once again. I urge the Populares Party of the Northeast to endorse Napoleon in this race because he is the Senator we need. This is no longer about recalling our Governor or criticizing our Senator, this is about you. I am tired of watching politics be politics in this region. I am sick of watching our political leaders bicker like children. The Northeast is in trouble and only you can fix it. Elect Napoleon as your regional Senator because we need a Senator we can trust. Thank you.

Why are people starting on the regional elections in June so early? I feel like there's more buzz about those than the at-large in 2 weeks.

Would it be a good idea to go for a convention now or should we wait until you hopefully get elected Goversnornor?

Meh, the Gubernatorial recall is probably going to happen sooner than June and I figure better have this out there now.

Well again, the regionals aren't for a month and a half so conventions won't start for a while.

That's why I think we should trigger a special election.

There's no legitimate reason (that I can see) that Rowan's term would end prematurely. Though we need what three more signatures to hold a recall for Governor? I'll contact Earl, Marokai and Rowan among others (unless Marokai already signed...) to get the last oomph into this.

Marokai already signed and sorry, I was referring to Ghostwhite, not Rowan.

No, no that was my bad.

Alright, I have a list of 6 people who could potentially push through the recall petition:

Rowan
Earl

Why did y'all vote for GhostWHite in the first place? Wasn't it clear he wasn't going to be active by looking at his past activities when in office?

To be honest, I was sort of nudged by an anonymous poster in my party to vote for G_w and I regret the decision terribly. I did endorse Polnut, but I was subsequently told not to vote for him by said unnamed poster.

Thats why I dont want to sign anything. I had a feeling something like this might have happened, which is why I voted for Polnut.
